At Esse (“Esse,” “we,” “us”), we take pride in the quality and care of our handmade products. Due to the nature of body care items and for hygiene and safety reasons, we maintain a strict and protective return policy.


Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns only under the following circumstances:

  • Products are unused and unopened, or

  • Products arrive defective or damaged due to an error on our part

Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.

We do not accept returns for:

  • Opened or used products

  • Products that show signs of use, tampering, or damage not caused during shipping

  • Items returned outside the approved return window


Allergies & Skin Sensitivities

Our products are formulated with premium natural ingredients, including avocado oil, which may cause reactions for individuals with specific allergies or sensitivities.

Skin responses vary by individual. Customers are responsible for:

  • Reviewing the ingredient list prior to purchase

  • Performing a patch test before full use

Reactions related to individual sensitivities or allergies are not considered defects and are not eligible for return or refund.


How to Request a Return

To initiate a return request, please contact us at support@esseformen.com within 14 days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Photos, if the product arrived damaged or defective

All return requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Return authorization is required before any item is sent back.


Refunds & Store Credit

Once an approved return is received and inspected:

  • You may choose a refund to your original payment method or store credit

  • Refunds are processed within a reasonable timeframe after inspection

If the return is due to an error or damage on our part, we will cover return shipping costs.


Return Shipping

  • Return shipping is covered by Esse only for approved defective or incorrect items

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping in all other approved cases

  • Unauthorized returns may be refused

Esse ships orders within the United States only.


Order Processing

All products are handmade and processed within 2–3 business days after your order is placed, excluding weekends and holidays.

Processing time refers to preparation before shipment and does not include transit time.


Shipping Methods & Rates

  • Shipping rates are carrier-calculated at checkout

  • We ship using Shopify Shipping, which may include USPS, UPS, or other carriers

  • Shipping options and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout


Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an automatic email with tracking information. Please allow time for tracking updates to appear.


Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

If you notice an error in your address, contact us immediately. We will attempt to correct the address if the order has not yet shipped, but we cannot guarantee changes once processing begins.

Esse is not responsible for delays or delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.


Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

If a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier but not received:

  • Customers must first contact the shipping carrier to initiate an investigation

  • We will review each situation case by case after the carrier process is initiated

Esse is not responsible for packages once they are marked as delivered, but we will make reasonable efforts to assist when possible.


Shipping Delays

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, including:

  • Carrier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Holidays or peak shipping periods

Esse is not liable for shipping delays caused by the carrier.
